L.I.F.E. Course at McDonough District Hospital

April 2, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Join Registered Nurse and Home Health Care Patient Care Coordinator Julie Trulson on April 2 from 10-11 a.m. in Auditoriums A and B (lower level) of MDH as she explains how to Put the Home Health Puzzle Pieces Together. This course will provide tips on how to stay at home safely and receive the care you deserve in a fun, interactive, and innovative way.

MDH Home Health Care utilizes a full team of nurses, therapists, social workers, and aides who work together under the direction of a physician to help patients recover in the home setting. Learn how each piece of home health care fits together to form a unique individualized plan for every patient from a two-time Best of the Best award-winning department.

L.I.F.E. courses are open to any adult, there are no educational requirements or prerequisites. The Macomb L.I.F.E. program, organized by the Western Illinois University Study Abroad Department, is affiliated with the national organization Road Scholar: Elderhostel Institute Network (EIN). It is independently administered by area residents who develop the courses, select the teachers, establish the fees, and promote the curriculum.

Pre-registration and a $5 fee are both required. For more information or to register, call (309) 298-1911. To learn more about the MDH Community Calendar, visit www.MDH.org.
